A tug helps Queen Victoria dock at the cruise terminal.
A lot of the cruise liners that visit Liverpool have to perform a turn in the river. It may not look like much but when the tide is out you can really appreciate how close these ships must come to possible danger. This is why we have the Pilot ships to help liners into the river.

These are the men who help dock ships at the cruise terminal. The ropes are exceptionally heavy due to the water that gets soaked up into them. Takes a few people to carry them.
