Today is the final day of NaNoWriMo or what I’ve been calling it Blogvember. I’ve blogged every day this month and I’ve really enjoyed it. It feels like I’ve come home.

I spent yesterday wandering around my home. It’s changing fast and I need to spend more time seriously photographing it not just casually as I walk to get doughnuts (a once a year treat).

In a year’s time this building maybe gone and I feel like it’s the last part of the shabby-chic seaside town side of New Brighton. The area is being redeveloped and will soon just be boxes without architectural interest. I will miss this building when it is gone. Partly for it’s iconic look on the skyline of New Brighton and partly because they do the best doughnuts for miles.

So to all you photographers out there. Take a walk around your home once in a while.

To celebrate one month of blogging I’ve put a coupon code to my new 2019 print store in my newsletter. Go subscribe and buy prints.
