I’ve bearly touched the 14-24 and 24-70 on my new D700. I’m just loving the 50mm f/1.8, and loving street photography again. 24-70 has a great range but its too big. Its like pointing a gun at someone. The D700 is nicer, but still plainly obvious that I’m taking photos. I had a lot of people cringe, duck, dive and block their faces today. Its a shame but the Xmas Market ends on Sunday. Going to miss it.
